Don’t be a bird that’s proud to fly

It means don’t brag about what is obvious.

A saying from Juzleed, which has long been well known for its dragonbird culture, such as the training of dragonbirds and their riders.

The Neel tribe also has exactly the same saying. However, the meaning is a little different. In the Neel tribe, the phrase is used for “a person with expertise and skills”. In short, it means, don’t look down on people in other fields who don’t know about your field of expertise.

Translation note

Dragonbird: Very large flying creatures like Rhizdeel species that can be “ridden by humans” are collectively referred to as “dragonbirds”. When not used as a “target for riding”, they are often called by their species name, such as “Juzleed red hair Rhizdeel”.
